Prior to last year, you would have found AD.ONE on Kfm every Tuesday from 12pm till 2pm hosting “Simple Mathematics” which he hosted for two years as part of the Kfm show line-up. As well as Kfm, you would have also found him regularly at Verona alongside the Morning Steppa on Wednesday nights, as well as at Suite Bar as a regular guest for the Slowdown Sessions with the Morning Steppa and Israel Carter, and then as a guest and resident for monthly evening Alphabet Soup alongside the Morning Steppa.
With Alphabet Soup also presenting International DJ Regal at Pull Bar at which he was supported by AD.ONE and the Morning Steppa. Beyond this AD.ONE has also been a regular guest at the Loop Sessions hosted by Dylan C at Rakino’s.
For the past year though AD.ONE has been based in Christchurch where he has hosted radio show 1422 on RDU alongside DJ Insomniac, as well as been a resident at Cartel Bar and Bar 205, regularly playing at Lyttleton Coffee Co on weekends and accompanying Flamenco guitarist Dr.Sanchez at the Mexican Café, Monster Bar, and No.8 Wired Bar in Timaru.
Yet he now returns to Auckland and to Kfm as the breakfast host and fills the enormously big shoes left by the Morning Steppa, where you’ll find him bringing you a mixture of downbeat, soul, hip-hop, dub and a little bit of everything else worth playing…
